The AB 1769-PA4 is a CompactLogix I/O power supply. It can provide 120 to 240 Volts of AC power and 24 Volts of DC power to the CompactLogix 1769-L3x processors, controllers, and the I/O modules connected to it. Up to 8 modules can connect to each side of the 1769-PA4 for a maximum of 16 modules for one power supply. This power supply provides 4A of current at 5 Volts DC or 2A at 24 Volts DC. This module measures 2.76 x 3.43 x 4.65 inches and weighs approximately 630 g (1.39 lb). This power supply supports DIN rail or panel mounting. It has an open-style enclosure with integrated fuse that is replaceable with part numbers Littelfuse 02183.15MXP or the Wickman 19195-3 fuses.
The 1769-PA4 has components that include a bus lever with a locking function, LED status indicator, a power supply door with an identification label, both movable and stationary bus connectors (with male and female pins), a nameplate label, upper and lower tongue-and-groove slots, upper and lower DIN rail latches, a terminal block with finger-safe cover, and a housing cover for the replaceable fuse.
This power supply has a selectable input voltage range of 85 to 265 Volts and 170-265 VAC along an input frequency range of 47 to 63 Hertz. Its isolation voltage is continuous at 265 Volts from AC power input to the system.
