The GE Fanuc90-70 Series module IC697MDL750 is a discrete output
module that is capable of converting a potentially high influx of
input into the desired output. The module hosts 32 outlets that are
sorted into four fused assortments of 8 points each. Each of these
points is rated at 24/48 Volts and a long-term current of 0.5
amperes. Each of the groups populated by 8 points has an overall
capacity of 2 amperes after making allowance for dissipative
factors. Depending on its usage time and rating, each IC697MDL750
also has an ephemeral capability of directing large input currents.
The output current of an IC697MDL750 is capable of powering motor
starters, solenoids, indicators and other such devices.
The LED lights present on the top of the IC697MDL750 are indicative
of the condition prevalent at different locations on the internal
logic circuit. Additionally, the on and off status of the outlet
points are also indicated by LED on the IC697MDL750.
An IC697MDL750 module is furnished with a key that is included in
the packaging. This key is to be used to alter the specifications
of the slot that plays host to the IC697MDL750. This customization
of the slot is aimed at preventing it from being used improperly.
The key is affixed during the initial instalment of the IC697MDL750
and remains in that position during any subsequent removal of the
module. However, this appendage can be easily uninstalled if the
need arises.

larger distributed I/O architecture. The IC697MDL750 mainly
features Thirty-Two (32) discrete output channels that deliver an
output voltage range of 20-60 VDC with a rated voltage of 24 / 48
VDC. It can be used to energize a variety of electrical loads, to
implement a manual or automated operation. Compatible devices
include motor starters, solenoid-actuated devices, and Pilot lamps.
Each channel of the module delivers an output current of 0.5
Amperes with a 2.0 Ampere rating per output group. This output
module has Four (4) groups of Eight (8) channels each group. Module
isolation is provided up to group isolation only with an isolation
rating of 5000 Volts between groups while each output channel has
rated backplane isolation of 1500 Volts. This module has a maximum
inrush current of 10 Amperes with a duration of 20 ms. The maximum
output voltage drop is 1 Volt while individual channel response
time is at a maximum delay of 1 ms. Each channel also exhibits a
leakage current amounting to 1 mA. The IC697MDL750 has a current
draw of 0.25 Ampere and is designed incompatibility with VME
standard C.1. This module comes with a high-density removable
terminal block ideally used with wire bundles. Each terminal of the
removable terminal accepts a maximum of Two (2) wires with a size
of #22 AWG (0.36 mm2) through #14 AWG (2.10 mm2).
The discrete output module that is known as the IC697MDL750 output
module is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc, a well-known

regulations set by standard C.1 of the VME standards. The module

key leaves no room for error. Due to this key, any modules that are
not the correct type of module will not fit into the slot reserved
for the IC697MDL750 module. The module has a current rating of 0.5
Amps per point and the maximum current for the input group is 2
Amps. The module is protected from voltage surges and it operates
perfectly with devices that have a steady-state current of 100 to
500 milliAmps. The repetition rate of these devices is up to 5
Hertz for the lowest current level of the steady-state.
